Tax Manager Sweden, Arla - Stockholm

Job role and responsibilities

From Arla’s new offices in Stockholm, you will be part of the Arla Global Tax team which consists of 11 specialists in 5 countries. You will be an important part of making things happen within the Arla Foods organisation and in building the future capabilities of the tax department. Furthermore, you will get a unique opportunity to work with a wide area of tasks in a professional but informal environment.

 

Your main responsibilities will include to:

  • Provide high-quality tax advice to the organisation, proactively acting as the first point of contact for various tax matters
  • Take lead on our Swedish tax compliance requirements to ensure that Arla stays compliant
  • Implement global projects into the Swedish market
  • Work closely together with our accounting team, assisting with tax accounting, tax forecasting and tax reporting
  • Liaising with other internal departments, tax authorities and external tax advisors
  • Continuously develop, streamline and digitalise our approach to tax compliance and tax accounting
  • Work with the global M&A team on transactions involving Sweden/Finland – with an opportunity to also work on global projects
  • Possibility to broaden the role to support the Finnish organization on tax matters

Doing so, you ensure that the guidance you provide leads to sound decisions, high compliance and support from all stakeholders involved.

 

Your profile

You are ready to put your knowledge of Swedish tax matters into practice in a large global and dynamic organisation. You enjoy working in a complex stakeholder environment, deploying your ability to manage assignments in a fast-paced environment.

 

Moreover, you:

  • Hold a master’s degree in law and/or accounting/finance with a focus on Swedish taxation
  • Have relevant experience from a similar in-house position or from consulting
  • Have knowledge and experience within Swedish tax compliance, tax accounting and preferably also international corporate taxation
  • Are fluent in Swedish and English (written and spoken)
  • Have a flair for the use of digital tools and/or a desire to learn
  • Work effectively and structured to meet agreed deadlines in a work environment with a wide variety of tasks

 

Furthermore, experience with SAP is a plus.
