Student Assistant - Stockholm

We try to create long-term relationships with our student assistants. In fact, many of our student assistants stay on for internships or permanent positions. As a Student Assistant will you also take part within Arla Movement and be responsible for at least one project. Nevertheless, will there be a couple of Student Assistant activities during the year that are designed for you and your development. 

How you will make an impact

We are looking for a Student Assistant to join our Logistics Finance Department 15- 20 hours per week. In this role you will be part of the Finance team for Logistics Sweden and Finland. Arla’s Logistics operations covers the transportation of milk from our farmers to the dairies, the handling of finished goods in the warehouse and transportation to the customers. You will support the Finance Business Partners in their daily operational work:

• Performance tracking by analyzing and building reports
• Support with month-end close & rolling forecast activities
• Drive continuous improvements
• Other ad-hoc tasks

This all to support the business to make sound and data-based decisions. This is a fixed-term contract, starting November 1, 2025.

You are currently following a Bachelor or Master studies in Business and Economics or similar, with at least 2 years of study experience.

Fluent in English is a requirement and Scandinavian proficiency is a recommendation. IT skills – experience with Excel and PowerPoint is preferable - being open to learning new systems is definitely a plus.

As a person you are eager to learn new things and have a genuine interest for numbers, business and people. You enjoy having a good time at work with colleagues while at the same time performing under pressure and in relation to sometimes tight deadlines. Other important qualities for success in the role are proactiveness, analytical skills, structure and drive.
