Student Assistant Payroll - Stockholm

You will experience a great deal of variety in your tasks, providing you with valuable experience that will be highly relevant for both your future studies and career. This role involves 15-20 hours per week, with flexibility to accommodate your studies. During your time with us, you will be involved in the Arla Movement and take responsibility for at least one activity. Additionally, there will be many enriching Student Assistant events throughout the year, designed to support your development. This is a fixed-term position, starting in August 2025.

How Will You Make An Impact

We are looking for a Student Assistant to join our HR Ops department - Payroll. For a Student Assistant, the weekly working hours range from 15-20 with consideration to your education and we sign contracts per semester (spring, summer and autumn separately). As our new student assistant, you will become part of our Payroll function that strives to deliver best-in-class business partnering to the customer teams.

Your primary tasks will be to:

• Support in monthly payroll activities
• Assist with Change Management communication
• Support and assist trainings for employees and team leads
• Support on various payroll/MDM projects
• Drive continuous improvements
• Other ad-hoc tasks

In the onboarding phase you will learn about Arla, our HR Ops/ Payroll organization and understand and learn all the details that will help you achieve your goals in the Student Assistant role.

We’re looking for someone who is eager to learn and contribute to our business, who is ambitious and thrives with challenges. You have a high energy level and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

You are currently pursuing a Bachelor or Master’s degree in HR/ Payroll or similar, with at least 2 years of study left.

You have high proficiency in Swedish and good knowledge in English. IT  skills will be required, and specifically experience with Excel and PowerPoint is preferable; being open to learning new systems is definitely a plus.

As a person you are eager to learn new things and have a genuine interest for numbers, business and people. You enjoy having a good time at work with colleagues while at the same time performing under pressure and in relation to sometimes tight deadlines. Other important qualities for success in the role are proactiveness, analytical skills, structure and drive.
