Student Assistant, Quality, Environment, Health and Safety - Stockholm

We are now looking for a Student Assistant to join our central QEHS team in Sweden and Finland!
 

Within QEHS, you will have the opportunity to work with a knowledgeable and driven team that has a great sense of inclusion, where we dare to be ourselves and support each other when needed. You will definitely sharpen your QEHS expertise within this team. The QEHS team ensures that we comply with regulatory and customer requirements, as well as internal standards. We work with continuous improvements in quality, occupational health and safety, and environmental management for our operations. We are a central team that works with all of Arla’s product categories across the entire supply chain, including logistics, production, warehousing, and distribution. As a Student Assistant will you also take part within Arla Movement and be responsible for at least one project. Nevertheless, will there be a couple of Student Assistant activities during the year that are designed for you and your development.  

 

How you will make an impact

As a Student Assistant within QEHS, you will work 15-20 hours per week on tasks based on the needs of the business, with a strong focus on customer-related matters.

  • Reviewing and approving customer documents in close collaboration with the QEHS Specialist, Product Manager, Sales Assistant, and our dairies.
  • Providing support to the retail and food service organizations on quality, environmental, and occupational health and safety issues.
  • Working in the Product Life Management system with product data and controls.
  • Supporting the QEHS team with emerging tasks, analytical work, reporting, communication, and some translation from English to Swedish as needed.
  • Contributing to the development of a strong QEHS culture and communication about what it entails.

This is a fixed-term position, starting in August 2025.

 

What will make you successful

  • You are currently studying and have at least one year remaining towards a bachelor's or master’s degree, preferably in Food Science, Nutrition, Chemistry, Agronomy, or a related field.
  • You have a strong ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • You have a keen eye for detail and are precise, while also possessing the ability to step back and see the bigger picture.
  • You are well-organized and capable of managing your work and planning effectively.
  • You have excellent communication skills and an interest in culture and communication within QEHS.
  • You are curious about exploring exciting opportunities within the consumer goods (FMCG) and food sectors, with a particular interest in quality, environment, and occupational health and safety.
  • You are ready to take on routine tasks as well as independent projects during your time as a Student Assistant.
  • You are fluent in both written and spoken Swedish and English.
