Senior Manager, Private Label - Solna

Are you ready to make a significant impact on our operations? Are you experienced in cross-functional alignment and customer partnerships? Arla Foods is looking for a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team as a Senior Manager - Private Label.

You will report to out Vice President Sales and work closely with Finance Business Partners, our Customer teams, Supply Chain, and Marketing. This is a new role within Arla and the right person will have the fantastic opportunity to shape and drive the development of this role. You will have one direct report in this role.

Having worked with Private Label at one of the Retailer customers is highly beneficial.

How you will make an impact

I this role, you will lead the Private Label agenda according to a defined Private Label strategy and principle guidelines, delivering results that have a significant impact on our SE operation. You will:

  • Drive cross-functional alignment and guide decision-making between existing Private Label contracts and new opportunities to optimize EBIT.
  • Be the Private Label expert and use Private Label as a catalyst in optimizing the E2E Arla business impact on the full value chain leading to optimized EBIT. 
  • Utilize being the Private Label expert and identify, align, and sign off Private Label opportunities that are according to strategic principles with senior leadership including track set KPIs and progress on a monthly basis.
  • Lead and drive the Arla PL agenda, implementing and upholding our Ways of Working (WoW). Act as the cross-functional voice of PL and ensure that key functions (Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, Finance) are accountable for delivering according to strategic guidelines, PL ambitions, and set targets.
  • Lead the required development to deliver short and long term Private Label ambition. For example, identifying the benefits and requirements for converting non-SE origin to SE-origin and ensuring alignment with stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with relevant functions (NRM, Category, BUs) to develop relevant enablers within the Private Label business, ie tools, pricing strategy, portfolio development to optimize net revenue and guide execution by customer teams.
  • Anticipate the need for change, set the direction, and lead the organization towards achieving targets through effective change management.

 

What will make you successful

We’re looking for a skilled doer with experience in Private Label.

We believe you have:

  • Master's degree in Finance or Engineering (or a related field) or equivalent experience
  • Years of experience in FMCG and DVH is a must
  • Experience as buyer is a merit
  • Leadership skills, with experience leading teams (formal or informal).
  • Excellent stakeholder management.
  • Proficiency in relevant systems and programs (AC Nielsen, PBI - Office, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge in NRM/NGR
  • Project management.
  • Good understanding of commercial business, including knowledge of P&L.
  • Experience and good knowledge of the Swedish retail market and the total value chain (from innovation and production to sales).
  • Fluent written and spoken Swedish and English.

As a person, you are highly analytical (data and problem-solving) with great communication skills. You are great at self-leadership with the ability to maintain a high level of structure and attention to detail. Moreover, you are a strategic thinker with execution focus and used of working cross functional.
