The Senior eCommerce Manager is overall responsible the eCom agenda with the bricks and clicks customers and eCOM pure players. For this role, we are looking for candidates with strong key account management and eCommerce experience.
This is a high-level yet hands on role focused on leading eCommerce strategies, activations and sales. The position is based in our Solna HQ Office and you will lead a team of four eCommerce professionals. You will report to our Vice President of Sales and be a part of the Sales Leadership Team.
How you will make an impact
Arla has an ambitious commercial agenda and as Senior eCommerce Manager, you will be driving eCommerce excellence and execute the market strategy to enable delivery of our growth ambitions. The Senior eCommerce Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing the eCommerce strategy for Sweden in close collaboration with the Head of eCommerce in Europe, to ensure that we share and drive best practice across countries and platforms.
This role sets clear sales targets and KPIs for the team and drives performance to deliver against these targets. You will be accountable for budget and short to mid-term planning. To be successful, you will communicate and influence senior management and stakeholders’ decisions to ensure optimal outcomes.
In this role, you will:
- Lead, coach and develop strategies, guidelines and ambitious long-term plans för a wider customer segment within the eCommerce Channel
- Establish and maintain successful and strong business relationships with our customer eCommerce counterparts
- Scope and define Arla Sweden’s strategic ambitions within eCommerce
- Align to Zone/Global functions and define local roadmap to delivery. Secure effective launch of initiatives to deliver against plan and targets
- Scope key eCommerce priorities and requirements for channel-ready production and logistics using inputs from retail and industry sources
What will make you successful
We are looking for a leader who can inspire and who can build a strong team as well as internal networks across the matrix organisation that will secure delivery and adoption of the eCommerce strategy
- You have experience in the eCommerce environment in an FMCG sales or retail role.
- You hold a, university degree within business, marketing, finance, or similar.
- Knowledge of working with promotion and sales analysis and ability to turn data into actionable insights
- Ability to stretch form a high-level holistic business development mindset down to defining detailed actions
- Strong project and stakeholder management skills, and understanding of driving business finance
- Customer centric approach and deep understanding of retailer strategies, priorities and key objectives, with possibility to align own activities to these where relevant
- Strong communication skills as well as proficiency both in written and spoken Swedish and English
- You have significant leadership experience
