Sales Finance Business Partner, Retail & FoodService Channels - Aarhus

Drive the Sales Finance agenda

Based in Aarhus, Denmark, and reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing Finance, this is a great opportunity to become a part of a dynamic team of Finance Business Partners. The position will have focus on both the retail and the FoodService channel, with equal split of the time between the two.

Your main priority will be to become a trusted finance business partner and advisor to the VP of Customer Operations Sales and the wider team within retail, and to the Global FoodService Quick Service Restaurant Customers’ team within FoodService. Key focus is to drive the commercial agenda in both channels.

You will have a broad set of responsibilities within:


Retail sales finance:

  • Finance Business partner to the VP of the Customer Operations Sales and the wider team, driving the commercial performance management agenda related to retail customers, delivering analysis, core insights and recommendation for actions to improve performance and profitability 
  • Driving the performance dialogue around core retail sales KPIs (e.g. top 12 customer performance, e-com development) 
  • General support on the retail sales area, e.g. to the European Customer Leadership Team
  • Active participation in the Sales Finance Virtual Team, working together with the markets driving operational tasks as well as larger strategic projects

Foodservice sales finance:

  • Finance Business Partner to the Global FoodService Quick Service Restaurant Customers’ team, which is lead by the Senior Channel Manager Organized Chains
  • Supporting to build Strategic Global Customer Acquisition Plans including focus on Joint Business Plans with global customers
  • Supporting to safeguard commercial principles and policies across markets
  • Driving the performance dialogue regarding defined Global Customers (on both market and Global level) including focus on Customer Value Propositions
  • General finance support to the Global FoodService Central Team
  • Active participation in the FoodService Finance Virtual Team
  • Strong analytical business skills and a true relationship builder

As a true relationship builder, you use your proactive stakeholder management skills as you work towards the Customer Operations Sales team, FoodService central team and also across Sales Finance in the European markets. With your strong cooperative nature, you take part in different types of projects – from complex ones to very hands-on day-to-day tasks. You are capable of balancing networking with a clear focus on execution and progress on our operational agenda.

You have a well-developed commercial mindset and a proven track record of being a trusted finance business partner in an international environment. In addition we imagine you have   

  • A Master’s degree in economics and business administration combined with 5 years of finance experience from a commercially driven business environment (FMCG a plus)
  • Demonstrated solid financial and business analytical skills, turning insights into actions and recommendations
  • Experience within Sales Finance, performing both operational hands-on, tactical as well as strategic tasks 
  • Proactive approach to work, self-drive and willingness to always try
  • Exceptional Microsoft Office skills, and a firm tool box on communication, presentation and spread sheet work
  • Effective communication skills, including fluency in English
  • Keen eye for detail together with the ability to understand the big picture
  • Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
