How you will make an impact

As Field Sales Director Sweden, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our retail sales strategy. Your leadership will drive the performance, development, and engagement of our field sales force, ensuring we achieve ambitious volume, profit, and execution targets. You will be responsible for both strategic planning and hands-on leadership, making a tangible impact on our business and team culture.

 

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading, developing, and coaching the sales force—including regional sales managers—to build capability, drive performance, and foster talent
  • Recruiting, onboarding, and retaining top sales talent, ensuring a high-performing and motivated team
  • Designing territories, setting measurable sales targets, and managing performance to deliver on SBRG, net revenue, and market share goals
  • Developing and implementing route-to-market strategies and 1–3 year business plans, aligning national and regional sales plans with company objectives
  • Driving joint business plans and contract negotiations with key customers and retailers, and following up on execution for both B2B and B2C sales
  • Overseeing demand planning, forecasting, and the execution of local activities, including campaigns and category offerings
  • Managing P&L for retail field sales, with accountability for budget, pricing governance, and the rollout of field tools (CRM, routing, survey, image-recognition)
  • Serving as a member of the Sales Leadership Team, collaborating closely with the VP of Retail Sales Sweden and other key stakeholders

Your success will be measured by your ability to deliver on volume, value, and execution targets, as well as customer satisfaction and effective team leadership.

Equally important are excellent communication and influencing skills, which enable you to build strong relationships, negotiate effectively, and drive positive outcomes across diverse stakeholders.

Additionally, we are looking for a candidate with:

  • Significant leadership experience (5–8 years), preferably with experience of leading leaders
  • A master’s degree or equivalent experience within FMCG
  • A proven track record in multicultural and global environments
  • Advanced sales competencies (GAP, persuasive selling, solution selling)
  • Strong financial acumen and negotiation skills
  • Experience in category & space management, stakeholder management, and analytics is highly valued
  • High proficiency in Swedish and English, which is required
