HR Business Partner - Sipoo

Sipoo Dairy handles around 2,8 million litres milk on weekly basis of which we produce fresh dairy products like Arla® Luonto+, Arla® Protein and Arla® Lempi loved by Finnish consumers. We are seeking an HR Business Partner for a 15-month fixed-term contract to support our production site and logistics in Sipoo. This role offers the chance to develop and execute various high-impact HR and operational projects, driving necessary changes to position our site as best in class and aligned with our global supply chain standards. You will focus on cultural change, leadership development, performance management, and employee relations.

Your primary responsibility will be to lead the implementation of the HR strategy and local business plan at our Sipoo Dairy employing 340 colleagues. You provide professional support and advice for the SC management team on all HR issues. You will engage with our employee representatives to ensure support for relevant initiatives.

You will play a key role as sparring partner for the line managers in respect to implementing the overall business strategy as well as managing the day-to-day operation. This includes acting as a sounding board and providing feedback to line managers on leadership behaviors. It’s also part of your job to ensure that the key people processes are implemented and anchored by line managers throughout the organization.

You are part of our matrix organization reporting to Country HR Lead for Finland while being part of the global SC HR community. You partner with SC Director in Finland supporting in the delivery of our strategic and operational plans. You will be supported by a Global Shared Services and local HR team providing HR Services, Workability and Wellbeing Management as well as Talent Partner supporting in recruitments.

Key responsibilities

• Provide professional transformation expertise to shape organization to meet business demands
• Coach local SC leadership team on leader led change to deliver business plan
• Support leaders to create an organization with a performance culture via Arla's people processes
• Coach leaders and management team on strategic people agenda on Diversity & Inclusion
• Support people managers to identify potential and grow people for the future
• Key point of contact and key driver in union relations and negotiations

Solid HR insight and consultative skills

You have relevant education and experience minimum 4-5 years in leading change within organizations, preferably in the industrial sector as an HRBP, HR consultant, or line manager.  

Your consultative and communicative skills help you balance challenging and supporting line managers, while your engaging and structured methods drive business goals. Success in this role requires building trust in Supply Chain by establishing open relationships with line managers and employee representatives.

Stakeholder management comes naturally to you, and collaboration is key to achieving results. Your consultative approach, communication skills, and social abilities enable you to drive change in a humble, pedagogical manner. Fluency in English and Finnish is necessary, along with the ability to create strong relationships across all organizational levels
