Then this exciting position as Junior Category Manager in Arla Finland might be for you!
You will join our Marketing department and be part of the Cheese & BSM category team, whilst having a close link to the brand teams both locally and globally. You will take on a role on an operational level, from executing the category plans, analyzing category opportunities from a consumer point of view and lead efficiency projects. The role is based in Sipoo and reports to the Category Lead.
About the job
In this role, you will be responsible for executing our category strategies on a daily basis to drive business growth and customer satisfaction. You will contribute to annual business planning and different category development projects as well as working with category brands like Castello. You will work in close collaboration e.g. with the brand teams locally & globally, KAMs and customer development team to maximize sales, profitability, and customer & consumer satisfaction.
More concretely, you will:
- Execute different activities defined from the Cheese and BSM category strategies.
- Identify insights to help craft and define concrete plans that deliver a win for customer, shopper and category.
- Act as project manager for selected market roll-out projects for the Arla Cheese and Castello brands in collaboration with Global and local brand teams as well as product management team across the different cheese dairies in Europe.
- Localise and execute the global brand marketing plan locally for category brands like Castello.
- Manage the full portfolio in the designated categories through SKU management process.
- Monitor, analyze and share the performance, innovation activity and insights of our brands and competitor brands in the designated categories.
- Champion the categories within the overall business and our customers.
Who are you?
As an individual, you are driven and analytical and possess the ability to effectively prioritize tasks as well as maintain a commitment to quality and timely delivery in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You are capable of working both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic setting. Your work approach is characterized by being detail-oriented, systematic, and self-directed. You have genuine interest in consumer centricity and driving category growth.
In addition to this our preferred candidate has
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business Administration or similar.
- 5-6 years of experience in e.g. category management and marketing, preferably in an FMCG setting.
- Strong problem-solving skills and experience in reporting and analyzing data.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel for data analysis.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in both Finnish and English.
