Assistant Brand Manager - Sipoo

In this role, you’ll join Arla Finland’s Marketing organisation and report to the Head of Arla Brand & Sustainability. Your specific brand and territory assignment will be decided during the recruitment process, taking into account both business priorities and your individual strengths. This is permanent role.
About the job
In this role, your main focus is to oversee and manage the daily operational activities of the brand. You will execute annual brand activation plans, manage short term innovation projects, run campaign production and channel activations, and ensure operational excellence across assets, data, and processes. You’ll work as a team with local Strategic Brand Managers and collaborate with the global brand teams, and local stakeholders e.g. in sales, category, innovation and digital teams as well as different agencies.
The key responsibilities:
- For global brands, localize and implement brand marketing and media plans in collaboration with the global brand team, local Strategic Brand Manager, local Head of Arla Brand, local Digital & Media manager and the media agency.
- Assist in creating the short term local innovation pipeline with the Strategic Brand managers by collaborating with global/local teams and other local stakeholders e.g. category team and customer development team.
- Lead different projects like product launches, packaging changes and renovation projects as a project manager.
- Be the Arla brand ambassador both internally and externally.
Who are you?
You already have some experience from working in brand marketing in the FMCG environment and you are interest in learning more about brands and innovation. You want to work in a growing global company that also has strong roots in Finland.
As a person, you are self-starter and you thrive on taking initiative and consistently drive projects forward. Your ability to execute independently and efficiently is matched by your resourcefulness and determination to see tasks through from start to finish. While you excel at working autonomously, you also understand the importance of collaboration and are eager to connect with colleagues across the organization to achieve shared goals.
This role requires excellent communication skills and multitasking capabilities to manage projects within tight deadlines and ever changing business environment. You will be front and center in different meetings therefore you should also have strong presentation skills.
In addition to this our preferred candidate has
- A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a relevant area
- Marketing & brand building experience, ideally within FMCG min. 2 years
- Strong project management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent command of written and spoken Finnish and English

Salary
The pay grade of the position is 3800-4200€/month and it depends on your experience.
