Continuous Improvement Engineer

What will the role look like?


  • Significantly reduce unplanned downtime (i.e. technical stops) through systematic continuous improvement (CI) working mode
  • Identify where PM can be introduced, develop documentation and review current PM/ support of SAP PM
  • Communicate improvements / changes to engineering department including evidence of improvements for future reference
  • Define, check and improve technical and operational standards
  • Upskill line team members on standards for preventive maintenance and operator asset care by spending time at line with Technicians

What you’ll need to be successful in the role


You’ll need to be a qualified maintenance engineer ideally from an FMCG manufacturing background who has a passion for continuous improvement. You will ideally also hold some formal training within CI such as Six Sigma or Shingo.
