Supply Planner - UAE

At Arla UAE, we are committed to optimizing our supply chain operations to meet and exceed our business goals. We are currently seeking a dynamic and self-motivated Supply Planner to join our team. Reporting to the Head of Logistics, this role will serve as the key point of contact between Sales, Demand Planning, Warehouse, other internal departments, and Suppliers.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Collaborate with the Demand Planning team to ensure sales forecasts align with operational plans.
  • Place orders with dairies and third-party manufacturers, optimizing order volumes to balance demand and minimize costs.
  • Ensure product availability in Distribution Centers (DC) through data-driven stock level management.
  • Issue and track purchase orders using SAP PS1 and SAP APO.
  • Liaise with internal departments to address operational challenges.
  • Manage low shelf-life and slow-moving products to minimize wastage.
  • Participate and lead in S&OE and S&OP meetings.
  • Monitor inventory levels using advanced systems and optimize inventory management.
  • Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and set up performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align supply chain operations with business objectives.
  • Identify supply chain risks and continuously seek process improvement opportunities.

 

Skills and Qualifications:

 

  • Dynamic, self-motivated, and open personality with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency in mathematics and analytical skills, including advanced Excel functionalities.
  • Knowledge of supply chain certification (e.g., APICS, CPIM) and experience with SAP APO is an advantage.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.

 

Experience Required:

  • 2-4 years of experience, preferably in an FMCG environment.
