This is an exciting opportunity at our Settle is a 24/7 site with c120 people producing UHT and Lactose free milk for UK and Export markets. We are searching for somebody who has a forward thinking mindset, able to galvanise the team around great maintenance activities, and effectively utilise resources to deliver improved safety, quality, and performance within a large production site and look to continuously improve systems and ways of working along with developing themselves and others around them.

 

How you will make an impact

  • Champion health, safety and engineering practices to deliver Maintenance Excellence with the engineering team and inspire a food safety and quality mindset at site.
  • Use CMMS system to develop, plan and implement preventative & corrective maintenance programs in line with departmental strategy, Identify opportunities for process and operational improvement and efficiency gains with a Lean mindset, and implements best practices.
  • Monitor and analyse maintenance metrics and KPIs and effectively communicates on status of lines and equipment.
  • Lead, coach and develop a large team of engineers based on good leadership behaviours and core values.
  • Is a role model for digital transformation, works with data driven decision making and promotes a digital mindset.

 

Grow with Arla 

  • Professional qualification across an engineering discipline (NVQ level 3/ equivalent or higher)
  • Having in depth knowledge and experience with the T.P.M programme, LEAN, WCM tool, CMMS system with S.A.P PM knowledge and Office 365 skills would be highly advantageous 
  • Preferably leadership experience with a fast paced regulated environment, bringing colleagues on a positive journey.
  • You will fully understand all statutory law requirements, contractor control regulations and have strong commercial experience to effectively utilise the available budget and resources
