Settle is a 24/7 site with c100 people producing UHT milk for UK and Export markets, you will be part of a multimillion pound project that will bring the UK lactose free market to Settle in 2021. We are searching for candidates who are forward thinking and will look to continuously improve systems and ways of working.

About the job  

This production technician role is vital to the operation at Settle. You will be operating process and packaging equipment with prime responsibilities for maximising output efficiencies with the maintenance of strict quality, hygiene and safety standards. You will look to continuously improve process and work with your peers using lean manufacturing tools to deliver improvements across the UHT, Lactofree and packaging areas.

Who are you?

We are looking for candidates with experience of working in a manufacturing environment (preferably food manufacturing) as a production technician. You will be required to demonstrate good levels of numeracy and literacy and have a sound technical understanding.  The successful candidates will have a strong knowledge of Continuous Improvement and lean techniques.

This role is a shift based role covering days, nights and weekends on a rotating basis.
