SEA has seen significant growth in dairy over the last decade and Arla Foods has built niche positions in selected markets and categories during this period. It is now time to start accelerating our presence with our winning brands and products, and we are looking for a Senior Category and Brand Manager to lead and execute Arla Foods’ brands within diverse geographical, category and consumer contexts!

 

In SEA, we oversee 14 diverse and exciting markets, focusing on developing branded positions across Arla’s full portfolio through close collaboration with commercial colleagues and distributor partners across markets. The Senior Category and Brand Manager role will be based at our regional office in Malaysia, and will manage a team of 4 colleagues focusing on Category, Brand, Innovation and Product Management.

 

How you will make an impact?

  • You will be leading a diverse and skilled team responsible for developing and implementing our brand and product agenda in Retail across many different geographies, categories as well as consumer and shopper contexts.
  • You will ensure execution of our the Retail category strategy, and scope and develop the NPD pipeline.
  • Your team will also be responsible for strong project management of NPDs and market rollouts (MROs), as well as supporting various projects related to packaging design, regulatory changes impacting product rollouts, and product sourcing.
  • Finally, you and your team will be responsible for ensuring efficiency across our full product assortment for both Retail and Foodservice.
  • Your priority is fuelling the growth of Arla’s renowned global brands such as Arla (Cheese), Arla Protein, Lurpak, as well as any upcoming bets and brands. You will align and collaborate closely with global and market stakeholders to develop brand positioning and plans for selected brands, ensure effective and efficient marketing budget allocation according to the brand strategy, ensure strong execution on our brands as well as strong pipeline.

  • Your curiosity and inclination for constant improvement and learning will make your team and colleagues in SEA to strive constantly for better practices and personal and professional development.

 

Additional qualifications

  • Extensive experience in the (Food/Dairy) FMCG sector with a proven record in category, brand and marketing management
  • Strong experience with leading teams and organizational transformation
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to set direction and influence others
  • Considerable experience working with senior management or seasoned stakeholders
  • Excellent presentation skills and great command of PowerPoint
  • Great commercial acumen as well as business case creation and project management
  • Experienced with Excel and/or PowerBI / SAP / dashboard creation & analysis
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English is essential
  • Experience working across various countries or diverse consumer contexts is an advantage
