Brand Manager - South East Asia

Your challenge

In this role you will drive regional brand  and category strategy plans in order to build a strong brand and achieve business results.  To do so, you will :


  • Develop regional category strategy plans (12 month to 5 year horizon) within a specific category (or more) across a portfolio of brands ensuring the delivery of growth for the category(s) and for Arla Foods
  • Support local markets in adapting and activating category strategy plans
  • Closely monitor latest industry and market developments, activities and communication of competitors, consumer trends and utilize these insights analysis in category and brand building
  • Develop Innovation Pipelines for sustainable category growth, including building commercial business cases
  • Work with selected markets in development of New Product launches and their implementation in markets
  • Be responsible for the development of brand positioning, purpose and architecture
  • Develop brand communications on ATL, BTL and digital, and support local markets in execution
  • Evaluate the performance of the campaigns against the key KPI’s of the briefs
  • Closely manage agencies for communication, campaigns development
  • Build strong relationship with cross-functional teams and stakeholder management between category, support and local functions i.e. Legal, Product Management, NPD, local markets, etc. to ensure effective delivery of projects


Your profile

  • You have 5 years or more working experience in FMCG industry within category or brand management. Experience within MNC is preferable.
  • You also have a degree (B.Sc / M.Sc.) within a marketing or business related discipline.
  • You have knowledge in category and brand plans development
  • You have knowledge in communication assets, marketing mixes development, and have worked with agencies before
  • You have experience in developing product innovations and launch plans
  • You are able to demonstrate the ability to provide leadership to key project and cross-functional teams, demonstrating both commercial acumen and effective time and project management.
  • Good communication skills, entrepreneurial mindset and self-driven approach to work are essential for this position along with the ability to work within a matrix organization
