Channel Manager Foodservice - Nijkerk

Would you like to be a key player in our foodservice team in the Netherlands? Come join us as our new Channel Manager Foodservice, Nijkerk.


Our foodservice marketing team is responsible for branding and selling Arla’s portfolio to the professional kitchens (B2B) under the Arla Pro label. Our customers are the wholesalers, who deliver to our end-users, the passionate chefs of restaurants, hotels and cafés. In the team we work to strengthen Arla Pro to become the market-leading brand among professional customers, in close collaboration with colleagues in other local and global functions.


To accelerate the business with our customers we have created a new position in our team as Channel Manager. In this position you will drive growth in the foodservice channel according to our strategy with marketing communications, especially digital tools, events and trade marketing campaigns. You will implement our marketing plans towards our strategic ambition called Future26.


In this new role, you will:

  • Collaborate with sales to support local sales initiatives and join customer meetings when needed;
  • Build cooperation with customers, colleagues locally and in other countries, foodservice companies, partners and agencies;
  • Drive conversion at our wholesalers by co-execute our digital marketing strategy all the way from awareness-to-purchase;
  • Define and execute trade marketing activities, for example trade fairs, promotions, sponsorships;
  • Develop and produce local channel marketing material e.g., brochures, launch material for novelties;
  • Implement the channel strategy by sharing insights (trends, competitor analysis, customer insight) to the innovation process, sales and customers;
  • Take ownership of development initiatives in an agile manner, drive projects and share information. 


Who are you?

Collaboration is imperative as you will work closely with colleagues across Arla NL and the Global Foodservice and with customers to understand their needs in order to drive our business and channels. You have a can-do-mindset and as a true team player. You are open minded, creative, eager to learn and develop, and take on the challenges of driving projects. You have a digital orientation and learn new systems easily.

Furthermore, you:

  • Hold a relevant education, e.g. Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in marketing or similar;
  • Have 2-4 years of experience in a fast-moving consumer goods environment and/or B2B marketing;
  • Have advanced project management skills;
  • Possess thorough analytical skills;
  • Have experience in digital marketing for a B2B audience;
  • Are fluent in both Dutch and English.
