We are looking for a dynamic Associate Manager to help us drive operational excellence towards lighthouse status - a site where other sites can go and see best practice and where the newest technology is tested.
The Rødkærsbro site is part of Arla Foods, where our mission is to efficiently produce and pack Mozzarella and Pizza Topping of the highest quality in a wide range of packaging formats. The packaging department is well equipped and consists of approximately 145 motivated employees that keeps the cogs turning 3 full shifts a week packing 49.000 tons of cheese a year.
How you will make an impact
You will be the right hand of the Senior Operation Manager and be responsible for packaging department support team, which consist of a team of 5 skilled specialist.
Looking ahead, the position will play a crucial part in future capex projects, focusing on pre-projects and potential evaluations. Therefore you will initiate, lead, and participate in projects to improve and future-proof our department. You also have the ability analyze of data and through that identify improvements. Since we produce food, it is crucial that the operation and maintenance of processes comply with our standards and are documented according to regulations.
Your Responsibilities Include:
- Lead, coach, and develop employees and the organization, aligning with Good Leadership and Good Values according to annual people processes and daily leadership tasks.
- Operation responsible: You will play a key role in resolving the more complex day-to-day issues and escalations, ensuring a healthy, inclusive, and safe working environment. Ensure compliance with Arla Foods’ standards, policies, and applicable laws, including Health & Safety procedures.
- Ensuring high job satisfaction to maintain the excellent workplace we already have, where there is room for diversity and mutual respect.
- Enable and empower the Line Centric Organization and support APS (Arla Performance System) transformation through implementation and process confirmation. Actively contribute to the development of the site business plan, aligning local plans with Arla’s overall vision, mission, strategy, and values.
What will make you successful
We imagine you have a relevant degree within production or similar.
- Experience in food production is an advantage.
- Capability to optimize systems and processes significantly.
- Leadership experience or practical leadership education.
- Expertise in LEAN practices and data-driven decision-making, including SPC, OEE, or basic statistics or similar.
- The local language at site is Danish and is therefore a requirement. English is the corporate language and is therefore used daily both written as well as spoken.
