About the job 

Inbound Logistics are responsible for securing the supply chain setup within Arla Sweden. We collect around 1.8 billion kilos of milk per year from our Arla Farmers, which we deliver to our 10 dairies in Sweden. The team consists of a group of specialists working agile, placed on several different sites and geographical locations.

Your main responsibilities as Transport Planner will be to develop and optimize logistic flows together with our contracted hauliers, as well as drive various internal improvement and cross-functional projects relating to supply chain development. In addition to being part of Inbound Logistics, you will also be involved in projects aimed at optimizing transportation and allocation of dairy raw materials. The position will allow you to take on a key role within Inbound Logistics, having a broad range of responsibilities that acts on both local and global level.

Your tasks will be to: 

• Optimize our supply chain setup
• Analyze and evaluate data in relation to route optimization
• Planning and following up transport costs
• Lead and represent Sweden Inbound Logistics in IT projects within the field of Supply Chain
• Work closely with various project team members to enable progress and alignment
• Direct the maintenance and development of IT management models and tools connected to the business
• Drive solutions for improvement and optimal use of resources

Who are you?

You are an ambitious IT person, passionate about delivering sustainable business improvements. Your strategic mindset and IT management experience combined with your stakeholder management skills enable you to lead projects independently and get all relevant stakeholders onboard. You have an education at Master degree level or relevant knowledge, 3-5 years of experience within the area of Supply Chain development and or business processes development, preferably from FMCG segment.

Furthermore, you are exemplified by the following: 

• Hold great project management skills – meaning you are organised and “know how” to plan and execute initiatives in coordination with others
• IT skills (Office 365 tools, Power BI, transportation and logistics optimization tools)
• Team player with the capability to work independently and collaborate in a project environment
• Holistic and positive mindset
• Knowledge of change management within projects
• Solid facilitator for leading meetings and workshops
• Strong communication skills with fluency in both Swedish and English
