Senior Demand Planner (m/f/d) - Athens

About the job

• Based on forecasts, order production and transportation, achieve stock levels that contribute to a high delivery service to customers and minimizes wastage of finished goods
• Plans and optimizes stock levels by setting models and parameters such as safety stock, production frequency etc.
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to ensure that the promotions, visible im-pact orders and new product forecasts are included in the aggregate demand.
• Lead the work of creating short-and-long term forecasts by collaborating with Channel Category (sales & marketing) for input to build a consensus APO forecast.
• Overseeing and assessing customer service staff activities and providing them with regular performance-related feedback
• Monitoring the daily activities of customer service operations
• Carrying out inventory control daily so that optimize balance between stock availability and customers’ demand.
• Monitoring stock of short expiring products weekly and organize management of same in cooperation with the Management team of the company.
• Handling customer service complaints efficiently so that maintain highest possible service level.
• Communication with 3PL partner and review of the effectiveness of partnership periodically based on the Service Level agreed.
• Communication and close cooperation with relevant colleagues seating at the headquarters of the company
• Lead, coach, and develop Team based on Our Leadership, Our Character and Our Responsibility according to annual people processes.

Candidate profile

• You have a degree in business administration, sales, marketing or comparable.
• You have professional experience from a comparable function in a similar role in the FMCG/food sector.
• You are a strong communicator, a team player, flexible, problem solver, like change, able to work under pressure and have an affinity for sales.
• You have strong analytical and conceptual skills.
• You have competency in Excel, Power Point, SAP and in adopting new technologies. 
• You are fluent in Greek and English
