Key Account Manager (m/f/d) - Athens

About the job

  • You manage a group of customers to reach designated sales target levels and you develop a profitable business with new and existing customers
  • As a category expert you possess and apply detailed category and product knowledge and you are recognized as a category expert from the customer
  • You have detailed knowledge of our client’s business which enables you to make the right proposals for category growth in the customer
  • You are responsible for the direct sales process, aiming at meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • You are in charge of the sales expansion, introducing new products/services to our clients and organizing visits to current and potential clients
  • You submit short and long-range sales plans and prepare sales strategies using available marketing and customer marketing programs to reach designated targets
  • You are responsible for retaining long-term customer relationships with established clients
  • You ensure that clients receive high-quality customer service
  • You inform the clients about new products and services as they are introduced
  • You address customers e-com efforts with Arla e-com capabilities
  • You pass on information to appropriate sales representatives when clients have additional service needs
  • You secure excellence in instore implementation through sales representative and by building efficient two-way communication with the sales team and with the retailer team


Candidate profile

  • You have a Bachelor’s Degree ideally with a focus on sales / marketing or comparable qualification
  • Master`s degree with a focus on sales / marketing is a plus
  • You have minimum 7 years of experience in sales and min 3 years in a similar role in the FMCG/food sector
  • You have competency in Excel, Power Point and in adopting new technologies 
  • You have a Driving license for 2+ years
  • You have Military Obligations fulfilled
  • You are fluent in Greek and English
