We are currently looking for an expert in Accounting who can contribute to driving the accounting operations forward!

As our new Accountant you will report directly to the Accounting & Tax Supervisor. You will collaborate closely with Sales, Sales Controlling, Customer Service and Marketing colleagues. This job is a great opportunity to accelerate your career in the FMCG industry!

Accountant

Athens, Greece

Key responsibilities include:

• Review accounting entries that will be done by Central Service Center and MyData flow
• Run the monthly warehouse book and provide product costing information
• Prepare and submit VAT, Indirect Taxes, annual recycling statement etc.
• Participate in the month-end and year-end closing processes, including Μonitoring of promotional expenses, accruals and reconciliations
• Assist with annual audits

What will make you successful

• You have a university degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or comparable qualification. Post graduate studies will be an asset.
• Holder of Β’ class accountant license, Holding of A’ class accountant license will be considered an asset.
• You have 3 years’ work experience, ideally in the FMCG/food sector.
• You are SAP user (FI / COPA Modules), MS Office
• You are fluent in Greek and English, both orally and written
