Trade Marketing Ambient - Key Account Executive

Because of these constantly recurring developments and new challenges in the market, we, as ARLA Foods Philippines, are looking for a Trade Marketing – Key Account Executive who, with his know-how and wealth of experience, can make a significant contribution to driving this growth further. The position will specifically handle ( 3 strategic important product categories – Powders, UHT, Spreads ) the Ambient business in the supermarket channel.

 Your tasks

  • Develop & execute cost-effective in-store trade marketing campaigns and activities within the assigned product categories, work closely and in cooperation with the Marketing dept. and the Head of sales
  • Must have personal drive and ability to execute the entire sales and trade marketing process and activities to selected customers
  • An active sparring partner for the Head of sales to enable Arla to win within the store
  • Support and take active part in customer meetings and activities
  • Responsible and accountable in ensuring the assigned budget is spent in the most cost-efficient way with the highest ROI
  • Develop programs that can improve in store visibilities, coordinate with our distribution partners sales and merchandising teams, and secure appropriate follow up on programs
  • Create and follow up on designed Store audits and reporting to Management
  • Market analyses (customers, markets, competitors) and derive optimization strategies
  • Coordinate of all internal interfaces that are in contact with the distributor and customers and consequently ensuring a comprehensive external service for both distributor and key accounts
  • Establish and oversee internal budgets with the company and external budgets with the distributor and accounts
  • Work with logistics, managers, marketing, and team members from other departments dedicated to the same client account to ensure the highest quality of materials are being produced and all client needs met

 

Your profile/Work experience

  • You have a business degree or relevant commercial training
  • You have 3-5 years of professional experience in key account management – supermarkets and/or experience in trade marketing as well as relevant experience in working with distributors who are the primary distribution link in the said channel.
  • You can work independently and bring teamwork
  • You are results- driven, thrive in a hectic work environment, and provide a high level of decision power followed by accountability and responsibility
  • You are passionate and driven to work on key initiatives in tandem with your internal and external contacts
  • You can do thorough review and analysis of the results and share possible action points for improvement
  • Very good knowledge of English language and a corresponding level of willingness to travel
  • The Job reports directly to the Head of Sales and work closely with the Head of Marketing
