Sales Executive - Retail Chilled - Philippines

Because of these constantly recurring developments and new challenges in the market, we, as ARLA Foods Philippines, are looking for a Sales Executive who, with his know-how and wealth of experience, can make a significant contribution to driving this growth further. The position will specifically handle the Retail Chilled business in the supermarket channel.

Your tasks

• Manage a group of customers to achieve designated sales target levels and develop profitable business with new and existing customers with support from a more experienced colleague

• Possess and apply detailed category and product knowledge as well as thorough knowledge of client’s business.

• Responsible for the direct sales process, aiming at meeting and/or exceeding sales targets.

• In charge of sales expansion, introducing new products/services to clients and organizing visits to current and potential clients.

• Submit short and long-range sales plans and prepares sales strategies using available marketing programs to reach designated targets.

• Responsible for retaining long-term customer relationships with established clients.

• Ensure that clients receive high-quality customer service.

• Inform the clients about new products and services as they are introduced.

• Pass on information to appropriate sales representatives when clients have additional service needs.

 

Your profile/Work experience

  • You have a business degree or relevant commercial training
  • You have 3-5 years of professional experience in sales – supermarkets and/or experience in trade marketing as well as relevant experience in working with distributors who are the primary distribution link in the said channel.
  • You can work independently and bring teamwork
  • You are results- driven, thrive in a hectic work environment, and provide a high level of decision power followed by accountability and responsibility
  • You are passionate and driven to work on key initiatives in tandem with your internal and external contacts
  • You can do thorough review and analysis of the results and share possible action points for improvement
  • Very good knowledge of English language and a corresponding level of willingness to travel
  • You are residing in North Manila, around Quezon City area (preferred)
  • The Job reports directly to the Head of Sales and work closely with the Head of Marketing
