We are looking for a Key Account Lead for our Retail Channel who have a wealth of experience that can make a significant contribution in driving this growth further. This high performing individual will specifically handle Modern and Traditional channels focusing on both the Ambient and Chilled categories of Arla Foods Corporation.

Responsibilities:

  • Serves as Arla's lead in engaging with the modern & traditional trade and distributor stakeholders regarding the negotiation and implementation of all Arla product initiatives. These initiatives include distribution, displays, promotions and other brand-building activities for both product categories.
  • Grows and maintains a long-term partnership with our customers by proactively proposing solutions and plans that will meet their objectives.
  • Facilitates coordination within relevant internal interfaces that are in contact with the distributor and customers and consequently ensuring a positive customer experience for both distributor and key accounts.
  • Drives the delivery of volume and leadership in-store presence, and must have personal motivation and ability to execute the entire sales and in-trade marketing initiatives with the assigned key account.
  • Can be an active sparring partner of the Key Accounts Team Manager to enable Arla to win within the store
  • Substantially contribute in the development and implementation of programs that can improve in-store visibilities.
  • Interprets and analyzes data pertaining to assigned Arla Ambient & Chilled customers and products including offtake, customer category share, competitors
  • Oversees the allocation and spending of budget in the most cost-efficient way and highest return on investment.

 

 

Requirements:

  • You have a business degree or relevant commercial training
  • You have 3-5 years of professional experience in key account management in supermarkets and/or experience in trade marketing as well as relevant experience in working with distributors which is the primary distribution link in the said channel
  • You are a self-starter, but collaborates well with a bigger team
  • You are unfazed by challenges and thrives in a dynamic work environment
  • You can effectively translate data into a story across stakeholders, and recommend actions

 

The role reports directly to the Key Accounts Team Manager, and works closely with the Trade Marketing Team and Head of Retail.
