Site Finance Business Partner - Lockerbie Dairy

We are currently looking to recruit a Finance Business Partners to join our UK Production Finance team, and aligned to our site in Lockerbie.   Lockerbie is one of our largest sites in Europe and is also undergoing a large investment programme on both Cheddar upgrades as well as the future UHT centre of excellence.

 

Which makes this an exciting time to part of the leadership team of this site.  You will report to the Associate Director for UK Production and be part of a team of highly skilled finance professionals.  You will also be part of the Site leadership team and have involvement in business planning and setting the long term strategic plan for the site.

 

How You Will Make an Impact

 

  • Working collaboratively operations and Site Director to driving the continuous improvement (ONE CI) pipeline generation and maturation

 

  • Co driving the more holistic site performance across our performance metrics, contributing to agendas outside of finance through insights and experience
  • Owner of financial forecast process, engaging the site team to ensure site ownership of the numbers and actively working on securing a high degree of forecast accuracy
  • Accountable for securing accurate product costings, and also ensuring that the site achieves an EBIT as close to net zero as possible
  • Sign off of all financial business cases related to the site including CAPEX & ONE CI
  • Accountable for signing off the financial statements (P&L and Balance Sheet), inc securing year end stock counts

 

 

What Will Make You Successful?

 

The successful candidate will ideally have experience in a finance business partner role within a supply chain environment. They must have the ability to interpret complex financial information and communicate insights effectively to non-finance audiences, and have a structure approach to problem solving.

 

With excellent communication and organizational skills, you will build strong relationships across various functions and at senior stakeholder levels. An analytical thinker, proactive, and willing to challenge the status quo, you will also be proficient in Office Applications, with advanced Excel skills. Knowledge and experience of working with SAP would be an advantage.

 

Although we support hybrid working, there is an expectation of regular onsite presence at the Lockerbie site.
