Project Officer - HR (6 Month Fixed Term Contract), Leeds

We are currently looking to recruit a Project Officer on a 6 month fixed term contract to join us at our head office in Leeds. In this role you will report to the Senior Director – UK HR. This is a 6 month project role where you will help to manage the operational and project elements of the Brexit consequences from a people perspective. The role requires a strong focus on data and analysis in order to draw insights and then put in place proactive solutions. In this role you will work closely with the wider HR team as well as our sites across the UK.

 

Responsibilities

 

Some of your key responsibilities in the role will include:

 

• Providing the ongoing information and insights on resource changes on UK sites – (attrition / composition of new hires vs EU

 

• Monitoring the settled status of EU nationals in the organisation – helping to predict potential attritional factors over the course of 2021

 

• Liaising with Brexit site champions to field requirements and ensure all sites are communicated with and supported

 

• Ensuring the short and longer term workforce planning actions are coordinated regarding labour pools and anticipated requirements (working with Talent Acquisition and HRBPs in the UK to identify tightening of the labour market and any local insights)

 

• Confirming, quantifying, collecting and reinforcing the KPIs associated with Brexit

 

• Acting as Brexit (People) team Project Mgt Officer / secretariat

 

• Ensuring the timeliness and clarity of Brexit communications to employees – on travel, workstream progress, news, policies and associated updates

 

• Preparing Brexit Leadership updates and progress status reports

 

Skills

 

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate strong project management skills and will be confident in coordinating actions and driving clarity and outcome with all stakeholders. With strong data and analytical skills you will be able to use a range of data sources to interpret patterns and draw insights and conclusions which you can use to drive actions. You will have strong communication skills which you can adapt depending on your audience in order to influence and gain trust and credibility. Goal and achievement orientated, you will be tenacious and will follow up to ensure agreed actions are completed. A knowledge and understanding of HR is an advantage but is not required for this role.
