We are currently looking to recruit a NRM Manager, supported by the Sales and Marketing teams, accountable for improving price realisation, optimising trade spend and promotional effectiveness.
About the position:-
Net Revenue Management (NRM) is fast becoming the engine room for growth within the Arla Foods business. This exciting opportunity will place you in the heart of the UK business whilst providing a platform where you can showcase yourself and grow your career within Arla Foods.
Reporting to the Senior Net Revenue Manager you will be working on our growing NRM programme, you will support the brand's strategic direction and be consistent with our key retailer strategies for growth. Success will be defined as NRM initiatives having a demonstrable and sustainable positive impact on the P&L of the business.
It will be your responsibility to help lead the business to come up with these new initiatives and successfully implement them from start to finish.
It is essential you’re able to manage multiple stakeholders who have conflicting needs and deal with different individuals across a global business.

Key responsibilities (pricing, packs, channels and & promotions)…
- Consulting on brand portfolio pricing optimisation from category strategy through to execution
- Being responsible for initiative pipeline and business case creation/approval
- Consulting on pack price architecture from consumer need though to sell in. Responsible for funnelling the initiative pipeline
- Consulting on channel mix optimisation from analysis to execution
- Being responsible for prioritising at customer level and sequencing of initiatives
- Consulting on promotional strategy through to tailoring by customer
- Being responsible for formulation of golden rules based on ROI understanding
About you:-
To be considered for the role, you will have to demonstrate the following functional competencies:-
- Educated to Degree Level and / or experience in related roles and/or fields
- Experience in key systems – SAP, Power BI & Excel
- Experience in Finance, pricing, P&L ownership, business analysis.
Personal and leadership competencies:-
- Ability to develop creative solutions, manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
- Confident with carrying out face to face internal meetings
- Experience of influencing and driving change in a matrix organization
- Strong analytical / problem solving skills
- Ability to work with all levels of the organisation and communicate accordingly
- Demonstrated ability to effectively utilise tools and processes for continuous improvement
- Strong communication and negotiation skills to resolve difficult situations
Professional competencies:-
- The ability to synthesise information from a variety of sources to identify key insights and form pragmatic commercial guidelines and strategies across categories and channels
- Understands the drivers of promotional ROI; can quickly evaluate results to enhance in year plans and anticipate changing costs.
- Understands and can model retailer and shopper promotional behaviour and evolving missions
- Highly numerate and comfortable with complex, granular data including; internal financial performance and external sales/shopper measures
- Strong commercial acumen with proven experience in creating business cases and understanding the full P&L
- Understands and can apply pricing elasticity models and consumer research
