Global Brand Manager, Arla Pro UK - Leeds

As our new Global Brand Manager Arla Pro UK you will be responsible to drive the development of the Arla Pro brand in the UK market and you will be an instrumental player in building the Future of Dairy in Foodservice.

You will be working very closely with the Foodservice Marketing Head for the UK and the UK Foodservice Marketing Team. You will also be a part of the Global Arla Pro Brand Manager community, being part of the Brand, Sustainability and Core Portfolio team in Central Foodservice, and you will collaborate with the other Brand Managers to bring to life ONE Arla Pro brand across the different markets, with scale and seamless coordination.

About the job

In this position as Global Brand Manager Arla Pro UK you will be reporting to the Arla Pro Brand, Sustainability and Core Portfolio Director and you will work in close collaboration with the Head of Foodservice Marketing in the UK. You will work to develop, drive and lead the Arla Pro Global Brand in the UK, though effective communication. campaigns and consistent Brand guidelines.


Among others, you can look forward to being responsible to:

  • Build and develop a strong, distinct and consistent Arla Pro B2B brand in the UK and develop the local Marketing Activation plan for Arla Pro and Local Jewels, driving scale & effectiveness in the implementation of the new brand position and messaging house brand across relevant FS platforms in the UK market
  • Adapt and execute in the UK market the centrally developed communication assets and collateral online and offline for the Arla Pro brand
  • Adapt/develop local Digital Content on Arla Pro and work closely with Digital Marketing Manager to optimize and improve content based on analytics and learnings
  • Own and activate the Sustainability strategy for Arla Pro in the UK, including activations, communication, campaigns, customer newsletters and events
  • Manage all Arla Pro non channel specific trade shows, fairs, events and sponsorships, including local concepts that are driving the Arla Pro brand and all Arla Pro PR for the UK
  • Responsible to lead selected UK relevant projects/initiatives/campaigns to scale beyond UK
  • Agency management and Budget management for the local budget for the Arla Pro Brand in UK 
  • Arla Pro Brand guardian: guidelines deployment, asset catalogue, brand ambassador
  • Brand Ambassador supporting the UK market to implement brand guidelines, promoting usage of content catalogue in the UK market and responsible to secure asset sharing
  • Drive continuous efficiencies and process optimization to improve marketing ROI and identify and drive opportunities to scale Arla Pro content across markets and for best practise sharing across local markets
  • Brand Tracking (Brand equity) and campaign analysis for Arla Pro Awareness campaigns in the UK
  • Support driving selected internal brand engagement initiatives promoting and implementing the Arla Pro culture (courageous, imaginative and straight forward) in the UK market


Who are you?

Your leadership skills will be your key to success in this position. You are able to and experienced with working in large matrix organizations, where you effectively influence and motivate others.

Your CV includes experience from building global brands, leading communication campaign production for international brands and managing creative agencies.

Needless to say, you have a strong commercial understanding (past experience from markets could be an asset) and in addition, you have…

  • Demonstrable experience in a Brand Management role ideally within an FMCG business
  • Experience with working in an international matrix organization
  • B2B experience is a plus, though not a must, but your passion for customer centricity and devotion to building brands in digital ecosystem is mandatory
  • Experience in sustainability communication is a plus
  • Have a holistic and strategic approach to your tasks and great collaboration skills
