Food Service Channel Manager - Leeds

An opportunity now exists for a talented Foodservice Channel Manager to join our UK business and execute an ambitious growth strategy for our Foodservice division.

 

Reporting directly to our UK Head of Marketing for Foodservice, it will be your responsibility to implement and execute channel activity for the  the Arla UK foodservice business to help the team continue their growth journey.

 

As a central member of the foodservice team you will work closely with the UK foodservice sales department to ensure objectives are met and you will continue the journey of developing and optimising the operating model for our diverse initiatives and sales channels.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Owns the delivery of the global/local foodservice category strategy at a local level, with a focus on maximising and unlocking new channels and routes to market with the appropriate portfolio and range mix.
  • Deliver projects in market aligned to the local/global foodservice strategy
  • Leverages the work from lead markets and from the global growth platforms.
  • Identify and sponsor innovation concepts with strong foodservice potential through to market delivery
  • Identifies and implements ways to leverage the foodservice channel to strengthen the company equity overall for markets/concepts/sponsorships/products
  • Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams across Arla Foods functions to ensure effective delivery of projects.
  • Deliver on/create relevant B2B content in cooperation with digital team local/global
  • Coordinate with retail categories and global foodservice to ensure that brand guide lines are followed.
  • Competitor local surveillance
  • Identify need for NPD based on customer and user insight.
  • Develop prices strategies
