Finance Controller - Leeds /Oswestry /home

We are currently looking to recruit a Finance Controller to join the UK Production Finance team. We can offer

flexibility with your location as you have the option of being based from Leeds or Oswestry with a mix of working from home when you are not on site.  Reporting to the  UK Production Finance Senior Manager you will have plenty of top notch guidance and support to develop your skills for your finance career.


What will the role look like?

Some of the responsibilities of the Finance Controller will include:

  • Weekly and monthly analysis of financial results
  • Root cause analysis and problem solving, supporting operations to apply correct accounting and system principles
  • Working with our Central Controlling team based in Gdansk to identify process optimisation opportunities and improved ways of working
  • Acting as a bridge between the central controlling team and local operations
  • Supporting multiple Site Business Partner's with ongoing analysis on net result deviations
  • Engagement in developing best practice use of PowerBi reporting


What do you need?

  • Ideally fully qualified or working your way through CIMA/ACCA/AAT exams, preferably with previous experience in Manufacturing
  • Sound understanding of accounting principles and will be comfortable explaining these to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.

You will have an advanced knowledge of Excel and will also be comfortable using SAP, Business Warehouse(Analysis for Excel) and Microsoft Teams. Experience of PowerBI would also be an advantage.
