Level definition
Leader tasked with delivering results that make a significant contribution to a department or project delivery.
Responsible for delivering operational plans and setting day-to-day team objectives or acts independently to deliver the business policies and programmes within a defined specialist area. Resolves day-to-day issues/escalation points.
Key responsibilities
Team leader responsible for staff, development, target setting and optimisation within own team. Managing a team of drivers.
• Ensures a healthy, inclusive and safe working environment, and a safety mindset.
• Ensures that the department complies with Arla Foods’ standards and policies as well as the applicable law.
• Responsible for leading, managing and developing their employees on the basis of Our Leadership and Our Character
• Leads the work of having a diverse, flexible workforce to secure optimal shift planning and coverage of absence.
• Administrates health & safety talks and rehab processes.
• Ensures a sufficient staffing level and that competencies are in place in order to meet deadlines.
• Contributes to the delivery of the site’s financial performance targets.
• Ensures optimal utilisation of resources.
• Responsible for truck maintenance
• Ensure the quality of master data
• Ensure debriefing of Drivers
• Ensures the safety of all colleagues as a priority.
• Cooperates and coordinates with team leader colleagues within production and warehouse.
• Participates in projects, courses and other development activities.
Educational background/Experience
• Skilled education within logistics, transport or equivalent.
• 0-2 years of experience within management preferably from a logistics or transport company.
