As the MBB Brand Manager, you will have an important role in step changing our drinks business to the next level in the UK.


Be part of the MBB and Plant Based Marketing team in actively shaping a future of Dairy

As the MBB Brand Manager Plant Based, working hybrid from Arla Head office in Leeds, UK, you will collaborate with a team of passionate marketers and report into the Head of MBB and Plant Based.


Strengthen and contribute to the growth of MBB

As identified in our Strategy 26, MBB is a big growth opportunity and strategic focus for us and will be a part of creating more choice for consumers and keeping up with their developing consumption habits.


As a part of this journey, you will help to build compelling brand plans across the marketing mix and consistently deliver brilliant brand activation, in order to connect with and impact consumers and shoppers, and grow the brand. You will also play a key role in securing new drink opportunities for Arla.


You do this in close cooperation with the Global Brand team, local market teams, agency partners, NPD and Product Management teams.


In overview, your primary tasks will be:

  • Delivering short and long-term volume, turnover, profit and brand equity growth in line with the brand/category strategy
  • Delivering annual brand plans to meet KPIs, aligned to strategic objectives
  • Tracking performance of the brand and the success of initiatives and recommending actions to strengthen the brand
  • Partnering with agencies to develop 360°channel activation plan
  • Managing the marketing budget for your brand
  • Managing day-to-day agency relationships with core agencies feeding into their review and selection
  • Creating and delivering retailer engagement sessions
  • Leading the creation of strong consumer/category insight led shopper plans
  • Acting as day-to-day manager to a graduate (from May onwards)
  • Strong collaboration with the Arla Brand team. m


Ambitious brand champion with excellent commercial flair

You have strong demonstrable brand management experience in FMCG. Experience working with Plant Based brands is an advantage. You are passionate about brands and have experience in developing successful brands.


You will be able to demonstrate the ability to provide leadership to key project and cross-functional teams, with both commercial acumen and effective time and project management. Good communication skills are essential for this position along with the ability to work well with others as part of a team. You are creative, confident and outgoing with a true passion for brands and a desire to achieve marketing excellence.
