Activation Manager - Leeds

You will report into the Head of MBB  and will be responsible for developing execution plans for all channels taking the category strategies as a start point. This will go hand in hand with being the expert at a channel level and creating category channel plans that identify specifically how to win in each channel across Dairy Drinks. Innovation is also an area that you will support through robust category rationales and post launch analysis.

 

Working with the sales and marketing teams, you will be a strong networker and influencer with a focus on results and execution through your commercialised category and shopper insights. You will have the leadership behaviours and experience to coach and develop colleagues to support the delivery of team and business objectives 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead best in class secondary display agenda across all channels from concept through to delivery
  • Manage & deliver a FSDU program (both temporary and permanent), that improves share of feature whilst taking workload from brand, commercial and other key stakeholders
  • Work with the Head of MBB & Beverages to define the longer term future chiller/fridge plan, managing through a trial execution into market rollout 
  • Ensuring we have most cost effective model of procuring materials
  • Collaborate with the wider team (Shopper Marketing Managers, Brand Managers, Category Managers and Business Managers) to ensure seamless execution of F&D with Key Accounts.

Experience Required

  • Fully conversant with Kantar/Nielsen/IRI/retailer data systems
  • Minimum Impulse/ Soft Drinks category FMCG experience in category/commercial/strategy roles
  • Extensive experience of strategy development and deployment in retailers with demonstrable results

 

Ambitious brand champion with excellent commercial flair

You have strong demonstrable brand management experience in FMCG. Experience working with Plant Based brands is an advantage. You are passionate about brands and have experience in developing successful brands.

 

You will be able to demonstrate the ability to provide leadership to key project and cross-functional teams, with both commercial acumen and effective time and project management. Good communication skills are essential for this position along with the ability to work well with others as part of a team. You are creative, confident and outgoing with a true passion for brands and a desire to achieve marketing excellence.
