Customer Business Manager, Food Service - Quebec

As our Food Service Customer Business Manager for the province of Quebec, you will create and manage Food Service account activity plans and lead initiatives with our major Quebec Food Service accounts to achieve the sales, revenue, and profit targets that align with the overall National Foodservice Sales strategy.

 

 

About the role

Reporting to the National Director of Sales (Food Service), you will:

  • Effectively manage the customer relationship within an assigned territory and accounts by tracking customer sales performance, identifying variances vs. budget (volume, revenue, margin) and developing and executing customer programs to deliver customer plan on volume, revenue and margin that are consistent with overall customer and national Foodservice sales strategies
  • Assist in the development and execution of regional Food Service plans, ensuring that the strategies align with the overall business strategy and the National Foodservice Sales strategy
  • Deliver against KPI objectives as developed by the Director, National Food Service Sales CBT
  • Develop relationships with Food Service contacts to gain knowledge of customer business needs and ensure delivery of Arla Foods business plans
  • Liaise with Customer Business Team nationally to build on local successes and promote knowledge transfer and account synergies
  • Liaise with Customer Service Manager and team including business updates for Customer Accounts
  • Deliver required forecast accuracy for Quebec Foodservice to minimize wastage and maximize service levels
  • Monitor and control customer rebates and discounts, pricing, receivables and deductions and ensure receivables and deductions are processed to within agreed levels as per Director, National Food Service Sales
  • Perform timely administration of internal processes as well as team and resource management to create efficient internal processes
  • Monitor and communicate up to date information on the market, retail pricing and competitive actions and threats
  • Maintain up to date customer contacts and process for product removals and recalls
  • Demonstrate an outside-in mindset, ensuring the customer (internal and external) remains prominent in the execution of departmental activities, with the goal of achieving positive customer experience management within Arla
  • Achieve the agreed upon territory Revenue and Volume targets for Foodservice through effective planning, selling and negotiating.
     

Who are you?

You have three or more years’ experience in Key Account Management within Foodservice sales. Ideally  you also have considerable product knowledge of cheese related to the Food Service industry.

 

Your education includes a post secondary degree or diploma, preferably in a field related to business administration.
