Marketing & Product Manager, Foodservice International - Copenhagen

About the job


The Distributor Sales organisation manages a wide range of markets across the world from Latin America, Sub-Saharan Africa, Eastern Europe, Baltics, Balkan, and more, in an organisation of 38 commercial and dedicated colleagues in Sales, Sales Support, Marketing and Product Management functions.


As our new Product Manager, your overall responsibility will be to manage, develop and optimize our product assortment portfolio – working with our strategic foodservice brand Arla Pro. As Marketing & Product Manager you will be the primary point of contact and sparring partner when marketing and sales organizations have requests regarding new concepts, products and packaging. Specifically, you will be responsible for:


  • Maintenance and optimization of the Foodservice product portfolio
  • Leading marketing projects in relevant markets (in collaboration with internal stakeholders and partners, you will setup a plan and strategy for marketing efforts in relevant markets)
  • Preparation of marketing material (SoMe content, delivery of images and texts as well as creating product sheets, application sheets, newsletters, product catalogue, POS material, etc.)
  • Corrections and updating of product packaging to ensure that the products meet Arla standards and local legislation
  • Prepare and support product launches in Foodservice (in collaboration with Global Arla Pro stakeholders)
  • Support of partners, customers and internal stakeholders on various product related challenges.


The role as Marketing & Product Manager in our international Foodservice organisation is a unique opportunity to be involved in both marketing and product management in a truly global dairy company and matrix organisation.


About you


Your background has given you a sound business understanding and experience with marketing or product management – preferable in an FMCG company. Your education is a business degree, ideally at Master’s level, which has given you a solid analytical foundation. It would be an advantage if your previous roles have given you experience with brand management in cross functional teams or/and if you have demonstrated the ability to work with the full marketing mix. Likewise, Product Management experience is an advantage and attention to detail and a structured approach to your work is crucial in order to succeed in the role.


As a person you are a problem solver, demonstrating a results-oriented approach. You thrive in a matrix organisation and easily build commitment and trust with international stakeholders. You work independently and have an innate ability to effectively organize, analyse and present back solutions to cross functional teams, influencing without always having direct authority. You have strong communication and interpersonal skills in order to optimally use and engage your stakeholder network.
