Brand Manager - Copenhagen

About the job

You will join our International Distributor Sales Marketing Team working with 7 passionate, driven and diverse colleagues from 5 different nationalities. International Distributor Sales is responsible for 80+ markets globally ranging from Serbia to South Africa & Mexico. You will take responsibility for a cluster of new markets where we are looking to identify opportunities and establish strong branded positions.

 

You will work with a broad range of marketing related tasks and responsibilities on a strategic and operational level in cooperation with local and global colleagues across functions as well as external distributor partners & agencies. You will take a leading role to shape local implementation of global brand strategies & define new opportunity areas.

 

You will:

  • Handle communication plans and execution, strategic thinking and positioning to ensure the brands play the right roles in the categories
  • Inspire, engage & create direction for colleagues internally & externally in distributor organizations
  • Own the product launch process and create relevant storytelling for countries to support trade presentations
  • Own paid media execution (incl digital & shopper). Develop media campaigns in close collaboration with local agencies and distributor brand managers
  • Generate and leverage local consumer insights to feed into the brand strategy e.g. trends & competitor activity
  • Drive sell out and category analysis to identify opportunities
  • Lead a shopper marketing project to ensure our team stays at the forefront of shopper trends both in-store & ecommerce.
  • Lead a branded agenda & business planning process on behalf of the International Distributor Sales

 

About you

Using your energy and experience, you plunge into all tasks with enthusiasm and a smile. You are strong at building good relationships. Your ability to make the right priorities is excellent, and you never compromise on quality and timely delivery, even when the pace is high and deadlines are looming. Mindset is everything and the will to succeed is key.  

 

As a person you are collaborative, out-going and used to taking the lead. You have several years of experience, preferably from FMCG within marketing or equivalent. As a knowledgeable marketer, you have a commercial mindset and experience with developing communication and you are familiar with the fundamentals of brand building.

 

You have strategic and analytical skills combined with a global and outgoing mind-set that enables you to work with people across cultures and to create strong relationships and build commitment with all relevant stakeholders.

 

It would also be an advantage if:

  • You have 3+ years of experience in brand management preferably FMCG
  • Interested in and have worked closely with digital marketing, you are keen to stay at the forefront of digital media trends
  • You have experience in working in international teams and a genuine interest in understanding different cultures
  • You have an ability to build relationships & drive engagement with key stakeholders
  • A strategic thinker striving for flawless execution at a fast pace
  • You have curiosity to learn about dairy products, how to turn product knowledge into compelling sales arguments and are interested in food  
  • You have strong analytical skills and are able to draw insights from complex data
  • You are commercially minded, agile and results driven
