Associate Commercial Manager - Milk Based Beverages, Distributor Sales - Copenhagen

Are you a gifted marketing and sales professional, who can set the direction and execute the Milk Based Beverages (MBB) ambition in Distributor Sales, Copenhagen, Denmark? Then you could be the person we are looking for as Associate Commercial Manager MBB.

 

MBB is a Business Unit within Marketing & Innovation. The MBB team is changing the way Arla innovates, positions and distributes its products – building a “beverage mindset” to break out of the dairy aisle.

 

Arla Foods is looking for an entrepreneurial and independent Associate Commercial Manager who strategizes locally and excels the great ambitions for the iconic brand Starbucks® Ready-To-Drink in Distributor Sales.

 

You will join a dedicated group of sales and marketing professionals locally and work in close co-operation with a bigger Global MBB Team in Aarhus, Denmark. The position reports to the MBB Commercial Director International in Viby, Denmark but will be based in the Arla Distributor Sales office in Copenhagen, Denmark.

 

You will work with markets like Romania, the Baltics, and other South-Eastern European markets. The diversity of markets can grow over time as we continue to launch Starbucks® RTD into new markets. You should see EMEA with all its differences as a huge benefit and joy when you work across markets with many different types of partners. The job requires extensive travel activity and you can expect approximately 40 travel days yearly.

 

Plan and execute the strategy for the iconic brands Starbucks®
As Associate Commercial Manager you will be operationally responsible for business establishment and business execution.  Whilst you have an immediate KPI of delivering the results pursuant to the Distributor Sales ambitions, you will also focus on the development for the future. In brief, your job spans commercial strategies, campaign concepts, media planning/execution, budget management, customer insights, local strategy proposals and reporting.  

Your prime objectives will be to obtain, establish and execute marketing and sales plans based on local category insight into consumers, shoppers, customers, channels and competitors. You drive the annual business plans and have P&L impact for your area within MBB. 

 

Extensive Sales and Marketing capabilities 
You know the details of the entire marketing process and have hands-on sales experience either in the roles of sales, trade marketing or marketing. On top of that, you have at least 3-4 years’ experience with a global FMCG organization and preferably within the beverages category.

 

You have strong business acumen and filled your toolbox with a wide range of solid standards and modern tools and know-how to operate in a sales and marketing matrix set-up. You have sharpened your business talent in a job as Key Account Manager and/or Junior Category Manager or Brand Manager in an FMCG company.

 

This background has given you the skills to bring our products to market and drive well-known consumer brands to further success. You excel in the relationship building discipline and thrive in the role as initiator and mastermind behind your marketing and sales activities. Moreover, you have an open and positive mindset, a communicative behavior and proficiency in written and spoken English. If you have experience with beverages it will be seen as an advantage.
