Business Controller for Arla - Jönköping

We are looking for a Business Controller to join our Production Finance SE/FI team.  In this role, you will be based out of Jönköping. You will be part of a strong team that is responsible for providing financial support to Sweden and Finland's dairies. In addition to your peers in Sweden and Finland, you will also work closely with our central controlling team in Gdansk and Supply Chain finance colleagues across markets in Denmark, Germany and UK. You will report to the Senior Finance Business Partner, Production Sweden/Finland. The position is based at our Jönköping dairy and is a fixed term contract until December 2024.

Your area of responsibility as Business Controller includes:

• Supporting the Month-end close process and dialogue with Finance Business Partners
• Involvement in both weekly and monthly KPI reporting
• Working closely with the site(s) you are responsible for to drive data accuracy
• Ad hoc analysis of results to identify improvement areas
• Supporting the costing process to secure the timely & accurate update of COGS
• Work collaboratively with other SE/FI Business Controllers & the wider Production Finance Business controlling team to ensure alignment and standardisation of processes
• Involvement in the forecast process on a quarterly basis
• Assist to drive the SE/FI Production Finance Business Plan.
• Participation in a Production Finance Workstream, working with colleagues across markets to drive improvements within a specific process focus area

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who ideally has a higher degree in Economics/Business/Finance.  You will have over 2 years of experience working as a business controller (or similar), translating operational performance data into insights.

With being able to communicate effectively and having excellent organisation skills, you will be able to build strong relationships across the Production Finance community as well as across different sites and functions.  An analytical thinker, you will be proactive and will have a desire to learn about and improve ways of working.

You will be a proficient user of Office Applications and will have advanced Excel skills.  Knowledge and experience of working with SAP would also be an advantage. Finally, fluency in English and Swedish is a requirement.
