How you will make an impact

As our new Operational Network Planning Manager, you'll be pivotal in maintain high baseline levels and continuously develop and optimize a sustainable planning organization to ensuring customer satisfaction and cost efficiency.

You will be part of the newly established leadership team and be vital for our transformational journey, leveraging the organization and digitalization as driving forces whilst enabling cost-efficient operations - all for the future of Arla.

You will be leading a team of Operational Network Planners, Site Schedulers, and Component Availability Planners located across our cheese, butter, and powder sites in Denmark and head office in Aarhus, with a specific focus on Holstebro (butter and cream cheese) and Bislev (white and processed cheese).

Your task will include:
 

• Take leadership in developing, driving, anchoring, and role modeling a Performance, Service, Cost culture while fostering the value creation mindset and enabling delivery on sustainability, digital, and continuous improvement agendas.
• Lead, coach, empower and develop the team and organization based on Good Values, Good Leadership Behaviors, and Good Growth DNA according to our annual people processes, while also ensuring team collaboration and a sense of belonging even though team members are placed at different sites.
• Lead and build a healthy supply chain planning organization that enhances cost competitiveness and performance management in the operational horizon across DK within Cheese, BSM & Powder, to provide excellent service to customers - from farm to fork.
• Set the direction, implement and embed new solutions to enable the realization of the E2E Planning Program.
• Collaborate closely with the Senior SC Planning Manager MY DK and tactical supply planning teams and share best practices with peers across Europe.

What will make you successful

We expect that you are an engaging and passionate leader with a strong holistic view and people management skills. You may have management experience from site, production or supply chain planning. Ideally, you have experience in leading transformational changes with a focus on customer centricity, cost optimization and digitalization.

In addition, we hope you have:
 

• Knowledge of the future of planning opportunities within commercial and supply chain planning.
• A strong ability to act smartly and strategically while being a team player willing to roll up your sleeves.
• Strong communication skills to encourage and inspire our common agenda combined with interpersonal and influencing skills to engage and interact with key stakeholders.
