Senior Product Developer, Cheese - Southern Sweden

Our Swedish cheese business is significant and we are looking for a new colleague to be based in Sweden at one of our major production sites in southern Sweden, Götene Dairy. You will join a global Cheese Product Development team located across 3 countries. How You Will Make An Impact

The overall aim for your job is to deliver the cheese products of the future through impassioned and strong product and process development skills. Furthermore your key responsibilities will be:

• Drive product quality and continued competitiveness across our yellow cheese portfolio
• Lead and coordinate the process of developing, testing and documenting new and optimized cheese products.
• Lead selected product activities
• Recipe development and trouble shooting in existing products.
• Project management and the ability to have many touch points within Arla and also external partners and suppliers.

What Will Make You Successful

You are fond of cheese and take pleasure in tasting the products and presenting and engaging other people in the world of cheese. As part of a global team, you must have a strong command of written and spoken English. Furthermore:

• You have a background within dairy, food technology or food science
• You may have several years of hands-on experience from a similar position or from a production environment where you have successfully built a solid base of product and process knowhow
• It is important that you are curious, open minded and able to see things in the broader perspective, just as you need to be persistent in order to deliver your projects on time and budget
• You display a strong sense of quality both for product but also in your work allowing you to plan and organize your activities and document your findings accordingly
