Specialist - Cloud Engineer - Gdansk

Arla Foods is looking for a talented Specialist – Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. In this role, you will be instrumental in building, maintaining, and optimizing our cloud-native platforms that support the software development lifecycle. Your expertise in DevOps, cloud services, and automation will be key to empowering our developers and enhancing their productivity with cutting-edge tools and technologies. 

How you will make an impact:
 

• Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive compliance dashboards that provide clear insights into cloud operations; and self-advisory and self-service tools to empower cloud collaborators, 

• Create templates and accelerators to facilitate efficient and consistent cloud practices across the organization, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory requirements. 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of development tools. 

• Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions using tools like Terraform and ARM templates to streamline deployments. 

• Work with AI tools and platforms to enhance development capabilities and drive innovation. 

• Monitor platform performance and proactively implement improvements to ensure reliability and scalability. 

• Develop and maintain technical documentation for platform processes and procedures. 

• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices to continuously improve platform capabilities. 

Your Key Responsibilities will be:

What will make you successful
 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 

• Minimum of 5  years of experience in IT infrastructure, with at least 2+ years focused on Azure cloud environments. 

• Solid experience in software development and DevOps practices. 

• Proficiency in cloud services, particularly Azure, and Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform. 

• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure Pipelines, or GitHub Actions. 

• Familiarity with AI tools and platforms, and a passion for integrating AI into development processes. 

• Strong coding skills and experience with automation and scripting languages like Python or PowerShell. 

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. 

Please note that this role requires you to be in the office 50% of the time + one additional day (monthly).
