Senior Wonderware MES Consultant

To enable our growth, we established an IT Hub in Gdansk, Poland, we are looking for you to join various IT specialists, including SAP consultants, Wonderware engineers, project managers, agile coaches and developers, to deliver great results within e.g. SAP, web and mobile. Together, we support Europe’s largest dairies, a wide range of products and the farmers who own Arla Foods through great IT solutions. About the job

The Arla Wonderware Platform is installed in various versions on more than 50 dairy sites across Europe to enable daily execution of global production targets. Arla IT is in progress of upgrading the Wonderware platform on all sites as a important step to meet the digitalization strategy targets of company Our end users on the dairies meet the Wonderware as an industrial software platform and interface to enabler operational users to monitor and control the plant performance and deliver operational goals.

You will be a part of the Wonderware Team joining our Dairy ART in the IT Solutions where we using agile methods as the way of working in the SAFe framework®. You will be located in Gdansk, however, you should expect approx. 20 days of travel per year primarily to our locations across Europe. Your daily work will require close cooperation within unit as valuable member but also with pointed  business owners and external consultants.. You will be a part of further developing and rolling out our Arla Wonderware System Platform to standardize all our Dairies.

Specifically, you will:

• Migrate older platforms towards the newest Wonderware System.
• Develop and implement the new system functionality on Wonderware Platform/InTouch.
• Performance test in our Quality Test System
• Roll out the solutions application to our sites, primarily through remote connections

Furthermore depending on your interests and skills you can dive into one or more of these disciplines:

• Performance test in our Quality Test System
• SAP MII
• Wonderware MES

Who are you?

• You hold a degree within Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or similar
• You have at least 4 years of experience with solutions, like Wonderware MES Operations and System Platform, Wonderware Intouch, Wonderware historian, Wonderware PEM (+), Wonderware PLC drivers (DAS and OI)
• MS Windows Server and MSSQL, T-SQL 
• You have a background in production environments or projects
• You have experience from working in a multicultural environment
• You communicate effortlessly in English in writing and spoken
• You are familiar with the Agile and Scrum methods

It is an advantage if you are knowledge with some of these solutions and tools:

• ERP including integration with SAP, MII, Active Directory and Virtualization
• MES Systems
• PLC (Siemens)
• OPC drivers like Kepware
• SAP MII
• Github, MS DevOps
• One of/or more C++ / .NET / C# / vb.net
