We are looking for a skilled Senior Data Scientist to our hybrid team supporting the data focused journey in our Corporate Finance and Legal area of Arla.  The team you will join, is a cross functional team. We have Data Engineers and PowerBI developers, working closely with other areas of Advanced Analytics in Arla IT Solutions.

About The Job

In the role as Senior Data Scientist you will bring insights and recommendations to stakeholders through clear and concise data analyses, visualizations, reports, and presentations in the Finance and Legal area. Moreover, you will be:

• Analyzing financial, legal and HR data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for development towards Arla’s strategic goals together with Finance, Legal and HR stakeholders.
• Developing and implementing models to analyze historical financial and HR data and create predictive models for usage to optimize our financial and HR processes
• Developing and delivering analysis and models to support Extended Producer Responsibility Tax schemes, Fraud Transaction Scanning models, compliant usage of sensitive HR data etc.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams across IT solutions and different areas of Arla, working on delivering features as part of Digital Finance Solutions Agile Release Train in a fully agile team.
• Collaborating with external vendors to deliver on projects.

Who are you?
 

• You hold a Bachelor or Master's Degree in Data Science, IT, Finance or other related field.
• You have strong experience in statistics, data analytics, and data science, preferably within Finance, HR and/or the Legal domain.
• You understand working with Azure data lake.
• Your proficiency in programming languages enables you to manipulate, analyse, and model data effectively.
• You also have a good knowledge of statistical analysis, machine learning, and predictive modelling techniques. Moreover, you are experienced in using data visualization tools to communicate insights and findings in a clear and impactful manner.
• With your strong analytical mindset, you are capable of structuring and interpreting complex datasets. This skill is especially valuable in your role, where you are expected to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Your excellent communication and organizational skills facilitate effective interaction with various stakeholders.
• Given your experience, you are well-equipped to thrive in a fast-paced environment, consistently meeting deadlines.
• Finally, your fluency in English is essential for effective communication in your role.
