Senior Backend Developer - Gdansk

Join our commercial IT organization, which is an area that benefits from an increased focus and activity. As a Senior Backend Developer  you will be supporting the continuous development, rollout and optimization of our global eCommerce platform.

The role will include:

• Executing deliverables in an agile team, including daily scrums. You'll be responsible for feature development tailored to market-specific requests.
• Offering consulting and advice on leveraging the existing system functionalities, particularly in integrations with various systems/Microservices using (REST/Queues).
• Providing expertise and support for system issues, especially those related to our C# (.Net Framework and .NET 6/7/8) architecture and Azure-hosted platform.
• Ensuring that our platform adheres to development best practices and standards for our technologies and environments.

Who are you?

You will work in the eCommerce team, cooperating often with other teams in the Commercial train. Since eCommerce platform is tightly integration to other solutions good communication, collaboration and landscape understanding are key competencies.

As a senior developer you would be also a sparing partner for an architect to ensure best technical solutions are chosen.

To succeed we imagine you can tick off the following areas:

• Deep experience in C# and .Net, evidenced by significant contributions to large web projects
• Experience with at least one major C#-based CMS platform, ideally involving commerce components.
• Proactive mindset for identifying opportunities in your technical area of expertise

In addition it would be an advantage if you have:

• In-depth expertise in our technologies (Optimizely Commerce & CMS, Azure)
• Experience with B2C eCommerce solutions in an manufacturer context
• Experience within FMCG
