Release Train Architect with People Management - Gdansk

As a Managing Architect (Release Train Architect), you will play a key role in driving our digital transformation within the Supply Chain Application and Analytics Train.

Collaborating closely with the ART management team, you will lead initiatives that redefine our digital landscape. We are approx. 60 highly skilled people in a mix of internals and externals. We span from deep technical insights to broad business knowledge, and we collaborate to create the best solutions for the business and maximize the value of our IT investments.

How you will make an impact

As a Managing Architect, you will drive our digital transformation within the Supply Chain Application and Analytics Train. Leading a team of solution architects, you will focus on areas like Production, Plant Maintenance, Quality, Procurement, and Analytics. You will collaborate with the ART management team and engage with enterprise architects and business stakeholders to support our business strategy.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the ART leadership team, defining and communicating technical and architectural strategies
• Design target architectures and high-level technical solutions
• Oversee the development of robust technical solutions and infrastructures
• Ensure solutions meet quality standards and comply with Arla's guidelines

Work environment:

• Agile environment using the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
• Collaborate closely with the Product Manager and Release Train Engineer
• Engage with IT Operations and IT Security for stable and secure operations
• Develop and mentor a team of 5 solution architects

The position is based in Gdansk, Poland. Some infrequent travel between Aarhus and Gdansk will be required, along with occasional trips to our European markets.

To succeed in our dynamic business environment, you need to be adaptable and possess strong communication skills. Here are the key requirements for the role:

• Proven experience as an IT architect with a track record of designing and implementing enterprise-grade digital solutions.
• Strong understanding of modern architectures, cloud technologies, and digital development disciplines.
• Experience with a broad range of technologies, such as SAP Production, Plant Maintenance, Quality, Salesforce, Coupa, and data platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Ability to navigate business demands, set direction amidst evolving priorities, and build strong relationships to align IT initiatives with business goals.
• Capability to supervise, inspire, and deliver excellent results through your team.
• Previous experience as a people manager is a plus.
