Lean Consultant

GSS Development Team is looking for a Lean Consultant. This position is exposed to many different functions and levels of the organisation. It is a chance to work in a very dynamic team and support our stakeholders to continuously improve their operations. As a Lean Consultant, you become a part of our Global Shared Services in Gdansk. Here, you won’t find factory machines or farmers. Instead, you will join over 400 colleagues dedicated to supporting all of Arla with IT, HR, financial and procurement operations. About the job

As a Lean Consultant, you will work in GSS Development Team. You will be running Lean projects with different organisations inside Arla (within Finance, IT, Procurement, Member Relations, Customer Service etc.). As a part of GSS Development Team, you will also support future growth of our centre.

 

Specifically, you will:

  • Support Lean agenda in GSS Finance e.g. conduct Lean Assessment and develop improvement plan, support problem solving sessions, improve performance management etc.
  • Run Lean Academy, train and coach our employees and cooperate with Lean Ambassadors community
  • Lead improvement projects for other Arla organisations using Lean and Agile methodologies
  • Improve and develop Lean toolbox and ways of working
  • Support or lead other projects within GSS Development agenda

Who are you?

You are well organised and outgoing person who is not afraid of facing frequently changing priorities. You like working with people, leading them through Lean journey and helping to achieve business goals.

 

Furthermore, you have:

  •  Knowledge and practical experience of Lean tools and methodologies implementation
  •  2+ years of experience in running improvement projects – preferably in SSC/BPO environment (in any of areas: Finance, Procurement, IT, HR, Customer Service etc.)
  •  Strong stakeholder management skills since you would be working with various stakeholders
  •  Willingness to learn new processes and new business areas
  •  Advanced English skill
