Innovation Analyst - Aarhus, DK, Gdansk, Poland
Gdansk, PL Viby J, DK
We’re making a bold shift, because staying the same isn’t an option. Consumer Intelligence is Arla’s reimagined Insights & Analytics function built to shape the future of dairy by putting real consumer understanding at the heart of everything we do. As the world around us changes fast, we’re stepping up with new capabilities, deeper expertise, and a sharper focus on impact. We’re not just here to answer questions, we’re here to challenge, to inspire, and to make sure the voice of the consumer drives the decisions that matter most in our business.
At Arla, we believe the best innovations start with real human needs. As Innovation Analyst, you’ll support how consumer insight fuels our innovation journey, from early-stage ideas through to launch. You’ll play a key role in making sure we ask the right questions, listen to the right people, and develop ideas that genuinely connect with consumers.
How you will make an impact
In this role, you’ll work closely with experts across Product Intelligence (who focus on sensory, product experience, and behavioural science) and Consumer Impact Partners (who bring in-market understanding). You’ll help turn insight into action by contributing to research projects, building reports, and supporting decision-making across global and local teams.
- Support innovation insight projects across global and local markets
- Help design and manage early-stage learning plans (e.g., opportunity scans, concept tests, idea validation)
- Assist in managing external research agencies: from briefing to output reviews
- Collaborate with Product Intelligence to help connect consumer needs with product experience
- Work with Consumer Impact Partners to reflect local insights in all innovation work
- Help prepare and communicate findings through clear storytelling and visuals
- Contribute to the development of demand space, consumer needs, and white space mapping
- Stay curious, actively learn about consumer trends, innovation tools, and agile research practices
What will make you successful
You’re curious, proactive, and love solving problems. You enjoy digging into what people think, feel, and do, and how that connects to great product ideas. You’re comfortable with research and data, and eager to learn how to turn insight into strategy.
You also bring:
- 2–3 years of experience in consumer insight, marketing, brand, or innovation (FMCG or agency background a plus)
- Exposure to both qualitative and quantitative research approaches
- Some experience working on innovation or product development projects
- Strong collaboration skills and the confidence to work across teams
- A clear communicator: written, visual, and verbal
- Energy, adaptability, and an appetite to grow your impact
- Fluency in English (other languages are a bonus)
