About the job


Join Arla’s ART (Agile Release Train) named ‘Digital Solutions & infrastructure’, to be part of a great team delivering IT infrastructure across all base technology platforms. DSI ART delivers network, integrations, IT security, OnPrem and Cloud Datacentre changes as well as SAP Basis upgrades to the business and to other release trains. The ART has multiple teams and is currently in need of a new EDI consultant to join the EDI & integrations team


Our EDI strategy for the coming years is to insourcing EDI mappings and consolidating VANS providers.  To deliver on this strategy we’re searching for an experienced EDI resources to move, enhance and build new EDI mappings and trading partner set-ups. The role involves both hands-on development as well as communication with our trading partners. You will as our new EDI consultant join as team member in newly established EDI and Integrations team located in Gdansk.


Specifically, you will:


•Cooperate closely with trading partners

•Do hands-on development to enhance and build new EDI solutions to our customers and vendors based on their needs and requirements

•Have a close collaboration with the Operations department regarding changes, handover, problem solving and 2nd level application support when needed

•Be an active participant in the agile team ceremonies: PI-planning, demos, scrum meetings, sprint planning, retrospectives etc. to deliver value to the business

•Encourage continuous improvements both in running solutions and daily operations


Who are you?


•You are, an outgoing person reflected in the way you actively search for information and interacts with colleagues and trading partners

•You are, capable of gathering and analysing complex requirements and converting them into running integrations and EDI solutions.


Furthermore, you:


•Have a master’s degree within IT or other relevant areas with a minimum 3 years of experience working as EDI Consultant

•You speak and write English effortlessly

•Are experienced in working with an agile setup ( SAFe)

•Have hands-on experience with B2B Add-on for SAP NetWeaver Process Orchestrations or similar EDI mapping software

•Are experienced in working with XML, FTP, AS2 as well as formats like EDIFACT, ANSI, OIOUBL and TRADACOM, prefer¬ably from employment in the retail or logistics line of business.

•Have experience with SAP and SAP IDOC or similar ERP systems
